SPANKY is one of the most well-traveled and successful comedians working today. He is one of the very few, if not the only, stand-up comic who performs regularly in all fifty of the United States, and internationally in almost two dozen countries, resulting in his twice being voted "Comedian Of The Year," once "Campus Performer Of The Year," and the recipient of a "Cable Ace Award." Internationally, he is recognized as one of the most popular comedians in Holland, making annual Comedy Tours and appearances on Dutch TV. His work entertaining our troops overseas earned him the title of "USO All-Star."
In addition to his award-winning comedy tours, he has 49 television appearances including: The Late Show, Evening at the Improv, MTV's Half-Hour Comedy Hour, Star Search and Comic Strip Live, as well as popular dramas such as ER and Profiler. He has recorded two cds: "Spanky Live" and "Men are Sluts." His comedy writing runs the gamut from Joan Rivers' stage act, to VH-1's Rotten TV (featuring Johnny Rotten), to columns for humor mags like "Cracked" and "Modern Drunkard." The first self-published edition of his book "Men are Sluts" sold 3,000 copies in less than a year at comedy performances alone. The secret of Spanky's success? The New York Daily Post sums it up best. He is "adept at making people bust a gut."
